This invitation has a floral design cut out. It is a gatefold style.
The design is cut all the way around to the back. I used a pearlescent paper as the back to contrast with the floral design. The shimmer looks beautiful when held against different light settings.
The closure I chose for this invitation is a ribbon tied off with a bow. Since the wording on the invitation will be foiled, foil-edged ribbon was used. Thinner ribbon allows the reciepient to appreciate the design.
The wording is printed on vellum paper. So a photo can see through the translucent paper. It gives it a beautiful "dreamy" look.
